Brunel Insurance Brokers is delighted to announce their main event sponsorship of the County Durham & Darlington Foundation Trust Charity’s (CDDFT) upcoming Charity Golf Day. The event is to be held at the prestigious Rockliffe Hall Golf Club on 8th July and will be attended by many local professionals.
The golf day is set to raise much-needed funds for the CDDFT Charity, supporting essential work of County Durham & Darlington hospitals and has already seen a huge amount of support from many businesses. A short time after the event launch, all golf team spaces were fully booked and the main sponsor confirmed as Brunel Insurance Brokers.
Following the official opening of their new Stockton office, Brunel Insurance Brokers began supporting CDDFT in December 2020 with a donation towards buying presents for patients in the children’s ward over Christmas. The main sponsorship of the golf day enhances Brunel’s efforts to give back to the community in which they operate and to support the NHS at a time where funds are so vitally needed.
Pat Chambers Charity Development Manager said, “Like all charities we have struggled to fundraise during these most unprecedented of times but with easing of restrictions are delighted that our upcoming golf event is already a sell out! We are even more delighted that Brunel Insurance Brokers, who expanded into the north east in the midst of Covid, have chosen to support to be our main corporate sponsors on what will be our first major fundraising event in over a year.”
Linda Cronin, Associate Director of Brunel Insurance Brokers, said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be part of the CDDFT golf day as their main sponsors. We have been fortunate as a business to have manoeuvred through the pandemic successfully while continuing to grow and expand our team and our client base. As a business, we feel it is so important for us to give back to our community and to support the CDDFT charity, who have worked tirelessly to support our local hospitals throughout one of the toughest years. We are proud to be part of this fundraising event and look forward to meeting everyone taking part on the day.”
CDDFT Charities support one of the largest NHS care providers in England, helping to enhance patient care and wellbeing through the provision of medical equipment, products, services and education that would not be available to the NHS other than through charitable funding.
