Brunel made a tender to a substantial Property and Surveying firm. The firm reported that they had excellent relations with their existing brokers, and would be reluctant to change. Nevertheless they were eventually convinced that they had nothing to lose in undertaking a review of their existing arrangements.
Brunel’s claims team undertook a 15 years claims review to help understand a £7m aggregate of losses. With a better understanding of the claims and now a 100 + page submission of material we put together a bespoke insurance presentation, approaching only a handful of selected insurers.
Negotiations were protracted and intense, including speaking to various key underwriters over a bank holiday weekend.
Brunel presented a package of significant improvements to the client’s cover & excesses, combined with a premium saving of £176,000.
The client now pays for golf.
